SiteForge: the multilingual website platform from BudTech

SiteForge is the website platform BudTech built and runs. Our own site, our clients' sites and our products' sites run on it, each with its own content, its own languages and its own look.

One site, in the languages it is for

Each page exists in the languages it is written for: English, Arabic or Persian, or any mix of them. Arabic and Persian pages read right to left, with the whole layout mirrored, not an English page with translated words. A page that exists only in Arabic is only in Arabic: the language switcher, the sitemap and the alternate-language links Google reads all follow what each page really has.

Built for search from the start

Every page carries its own title and description per language, a canonical address, alternate-language links and a place in a sitemap for each language. The site describes the business to Google in structured data: the organisation, its address and hours, breadcrumbs, articles, and the authors behind them as people with their own profiles. A product site can name its maker, so the product's site and the company's site point at one another.

• Service and product pages, and hub pages that list the pages under them as cards.
• Detail pages with a contents box, a sticky enquiry form and related pages.
• A blog whose posts are credited to real authors, with related posts by topic.
• Menus with dropdowns, built from the pages that exist in each language.
• Enquiry forms that arrive in your inbox, and WhatsApp buttons on every page.

Content your team can edit

Your team edits text and images in an admin, one language at a time, without touching code. Each site has its own database, and BudTech hosts it on its own servers behind Cloudflare. Visits can be measured with analytics we host ourselves, with no advertising trackers.
